Part 0203 - Moment Zero Dimensions

ARGUMENT 0203-03

PRECEDENTS
  • 0202-08:   That the Universe is smaller than the uberuniverse within which it is expanding.
  • 0203-01:   That the diameter of the observable Universe at Moment Zero, as deduced through a profiling exercise, is 464,159 lightyears.
  • 0203-02:   That the diameter of the whole Universe is larger than the diameter of the observable Universe.
PARAMETERS
  • Consider that there is a uberuniverse.
  • Consider that the whole Universe is smaller than the uberuniverse.
  • Consider that the observable Universe is smaller than the whole Universe.
  • Consider that the diameter of the observable Universe was 464,159 lightyears at Moment Zero.
  • Consider that the diameter of the whole Universe was larger than that of the observable Universe at Moment Zero.
  • Consider that there is currently no evidence as to the diameter of the whole Universe at Moment Zero.
REASONING
  • Because there is no evidence as to the diameter of the whole Universe at Moment Zero, a diameter can be assumed.
  • Because the diameter of the whole Universe at Moment Zero was larger than that of the observable Universe, it must be larger than 464,159 lightyears.
  • Assume, for simplicity, that the diameter of the whole Universe at Moment Zero was one billion lightyears.
ASSUMPTION
  • That the diameter of the whole Universe at Moment Zero is a notional one billion lightyears.

COMMENTARY

No serious benefit comes to science from estimating the diameter of the whole Universe at Moment Zero because, as yet, there is nothing anyone can practically do with it. However, there is a small benefit for the Malta Template in that should, in the future, someone find a way to deduce a sensible estimate, this page is already here waiting to be amended.
