- ROTATION
CURRENT COSMOLOGY MODEL
Rotation
is a circular movement of an object around a centre (or point) of
rotation. A three-dimensional object rotates always around an
imaginary line called a rotation axis. If the axis is within the
body, and passes through its centre of mass the body is said to
rotate upon itself, or spin. A rotation about an external point, eg,
the Earth about the Sun, is called a revolution or orbital
revolution, typically when it is produced by gravity. (Wikipedia 21

MALTA COSMOLOGY TEMPLATE
- Intrinsic
rotation (or intrinsic spin) is the revolving of a teel or an object
made of teels about its own axis.
- Orbital
rotation (or orbital spin) is the revolving of two teels or objects
made of teels about their mutual centre of gravity.
