Part 7 - Selfproof (cont) |
SELFPROOF 0122
- TEELS
The teel is not a real particle. It is a kickstarter for the Malta
Cosmology Template. It is the least substantial object that can be
surmised while abiding by the rules of the Bedrock
Templature methodology.
Numbers of these hypothetical teels evolve successfully into the Universe of
today. This suggests that something like the teel does exist - although in practice
it is likely to be a more complex object than the one described in
Chapter One. It is also possible that it isn't the least substantial object in the Universe.
ON TEEL STRUCTURE
- In the Malta Template, the teel is the fundamental particle. (see Argument 0101)
- The principal properties of the teel are mass, spin, and rejectivity. (see Argument 0102)
- For a teel to have properties, there must be some means whereby the properties are "held".
- If the teel is truly without structure, the properties must be "held" externally to the teel.
- If one or more of the properties is "held" internally, the teel must have a structure.
- If the teel has a structure it is possible, and perhaps probable, that it is made out of something else.
- Every object in the Universe, that is known to be a composite, is made out of numbers of smaller objects.
- If the teel has a structure it is possible/probable that it is made out of numbers of even smaller objects.
- If the teel has a structure it is not fundamental.
ON TEEL MASS
- The principal properties of the teel are mass, spin, and rejectivity. (see Argument 0102)
- At the level of teels, in the absence of any other information, mass equates to a measure of a teel's gravitypull.
- A teel's gravitypull can only be measured by relating it to the gravitypull of another object.
- Is gravitypull "held" by a teel internally or externally?
- If it is held internally, what is the mechanism or process by which it is held?
- If it is held externally, does the teel actually have mass at all?
ON TEEL SPIN
- The principal properties of the teel are mass, spin, and rejectivity. (see Argument 0102)
- For
something to be able to spin, logic suggests it must be "substantial" -
because it is difficult to conceive of a mechanism that
would enable something "insubstantial" to spin?
- If the teel is substantial it is likely to have a structure.
- If the teel has a structure it is not fundamental.
ON TEEL REJECTIVITY
- The principal properties of the teel are mass, spin, and rejectivity. (see Argument 0102)
- Every
teel occupies the whole of its place in space and time and therefore
has the height, width, depth, and duration of that place in space and
time. (see Argument 0105)
- Thus the teel occupies its place in space and time and prevents other teels from doing so.
- This suggests that the teel has a structure.
- If the teel has a structure it is not fundamental.
ON TEEL GRAVITY
- The Malta Template offers no explanation for gravity.
- The
General Theory of Relativity asserts that the phenomenon of gravitation
is a consequence of the curvature of spacetime.
- The Universe consists of space and teels. (see Argument 0119)
- Space has no properties independent of the properties of the teels within it and is thus nothingness. (see Argument 0120)
- Teels are subject to the passage of time. (see Argument 0123)
- The Universe is subject to the passage of time because it is made out of teels. (see Argument 0124)
- Arguments
0119, 0120, 0123, and 0124 conclude that space and time do not
form a continuum in the manner suggested in General Relativity.
- However, the four arguments require the assumption that the teel is fundamental and thus without structure.
- If the teel has a structure it is not fundamental.
- If the teel is not fundamental it is likely to be made out of yet smaller objects.
- At
the level of these yet smaller objects, currently, anything is possible
because there are no facts from which a Bedrock Template may be
deduced.

GLOSSARY
- FUNDAMENTAL PARTICLE: A particle without structure. A particle out of
numbers of which elementary fermions are made.
- GRAVITY:
(1) The fundamental force of attraction that all
objects have for each other. Gravity has effectively infinite range and
obeys the inverse square law. (American Heritage Science
Dictionary) (2) Every teel attracts every other teel in the
Universe at a rate proportional to the product of their masses and
inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.
(3) Gravity is a property of the teel and thus,
consequently and proportionately, is a property of any object made of
teels.
- MASS: The amount of matter in an object.
- REJECTIVITY:
A consequence of the law: one particle cannot
occupy a place in space and time already occupied by another of the
same type.
- SPEED: The linear motion of an object. See also spin. One unit of speed equals one unit of spin.
- SPIN: The rotation of an object about its axis. See also speed. Once unit of spin equals one unit of speed.
