SELFPROOF 0104 - MASSCURRENT PARADIGM
- MASS
is a property of a physical body. It is the measure of an object's resistance to acceleration (a change in its state of motion) when a net force is applied. It also determines the strength of its mutual gravitational attraction to other bodies. ..... There are
several distinct phenomena which can be used to measure mass. Although
some theorists have speculated that some of these phenomena could be
independent of each other, current experiments have found no difference
in results, whatever way is used to measure mass:
- Inertial mass measures an object's resistance to being accelerated by a force.
- Active gravitational mass measures the gravitational force exerted by an object.
- Passive gravitational mass measures the gravitational force exerted on an object in a known gravitational field.
- Mass-energy measures the total amount of energy contained within a body.
The mass of an object determines its acceleration
in the presence of an applied force. The inertia and the inertial mass
describe the same properties of physical bodies at the qualitative and
quantitative level respectively, by other words, the mass quantitatively
describes the inertia. (Wikipedia - 10 Aug 2016) MALTA TEMPLATE COMMENTARY
That the Current Paradigm and the Malta Template come at the subject of mass
from different directions is very apparent. In the Paradigm, phenomena
have been identified and attempts are then made to reconcile
them. In the Malta Template, these same phenomena arise naturally
as the fundamental particle, the graviton, is evolved forward in time. The findings of the Template are: - That every graviton has measures of rejectivity and energy and thus has a measure of inertialmass.
- That every graviton attracts every other graviton in the Universe and thus has a measure of active gravitationalmass.
- That every graviton is attracted toward every other graviton in the Universe and thus has a measure of passive gravitationalmass.
- That the
absolute mass of an object is the sum of the masses of the gravitons out of which it
is made - this is one element in the mass-energy of an
object.
- That the energy of an object is the sum of the energy of the gravitonpairs out of which it is made - this is the other
element in the mass-energy of an object.
The
Paradigm and the Template descriptions are not exactly the same. The
Paradigm sees mass and energy as two aspects of the same property
whereas the Template sees them as separate
properties. This difference is not serious. It comes from the
Paradigm and the Template approaching the subject from different
directions. The devolutionary Paradigm researchers are
comfortable dealing with particles the
size of photons, at which level it is practical to see mass and energy
as different aspects of the same property. They have not as yet
established consensual ground rules for dealing with objects as
insubstantial as gravitons and gravitons are the seed corn of the
evolutionary Template. When the subject is considered at the graviton
level it is clear that mass and energy are two separate and
different properties.
CONCLUSION
Apart
from the minor difference with the mass-energy equivalence, the Malta Template description
of mass fully agrees with that of the Current Paradigm - and evolves
satisfactorily into the Universe we see about us. .
